I started making flowers in 2017. One of my first weddings starred dahlias burnt from the ashes of a wildfire, I endured the years of elopements and postponed weddings due to COVID, and years of civil unrest since. In this moment of horror under a tyrannical government I find people needing little breaks for beauty. People are still getting married, their loved ones are still dying, they’re still having birthdays, they’re still celebrating new life…

How to capture the INCREDIBLE impact Ale had on our wedding? I would have to start with our first meeting. My wife and I were stresssssing about wedding planning and starting to feel like the whole process was going to be painful. Enter: Alejandra. She came to our home and sat out on our deck with us to chat flowers. Her energy was kind, enthusiastic, and so, so grounded. It turned our whole wedding process around, and made us feel like anything was possible. She helped us go from random, disjointed floral dreams to a colorful and cohesive vision for a beautiful wedding day. My wife and I had different priorities, and even some clashing ideas about arrangements and particular blooms. Ale came up with suggestions that made both of us feel heard and delighted...
